PARTNER PROFILE: SCENIC WORLD
In early 2018, Scenic World and the Blue Mountains World Heritage Institute established a groundbreaking partnership via the innovative Scenic World Shared program.
Scenic World is passionate about preserving our pristine World Heritage environment, and partnering with BMWHI allows them to learn more about the world heritage values, biodiversity and ecosystems of the Blue Mountains and work with us towards a sustainable future. Together, we are working to conserve the natural and cultural values of the GBMWHA, educate and inform staff, and share knowledge with visitors.
Scenic World supports BMWHI in a number of ways:
Funding our internal capacity building to help with critical business development, fundraising, marketing, communications and community engagement.
Supporting and participating in key projects like Low Carbon Living, Ecological monitoring for climate change, and mapping cultural heritage.
Supporting the development of an education program for the tourism industry.
